I'LL be camped out of webber lake and trying to go everywhere. I know when we had the sheep in the back of the lake there were 4 bear back there. I don't know if they are still there though

Saw 2 bear today and ten does. No bucks. Camped at webber lake driving a white Subaru or a dark tundra

sorry I jumped on this thread late in the season, it's been a while since I've last logged on. I know those areas in the D3 very well, especially where it borders D3. If we don't get drawn for X7a, then we always hunt D3 and from where we hunt it's on the west side of Mt Lola. Been hunting that country for 35yrs -- bears everywhere...and I know pass creek well too. We got our 250-300lbs chocilate bear this year near Sand Ridge -- opposite Castle Peak. Same spot I shot my 500lbs+ in '06 (and I say plus, because we did not weigh it -- we skinned it, and qtr'd it, but had the same reaction that others posted had about theirs on this site - biggest bear some folks had seen in a long time -- I will post the info + pics under another section on this site - I think it's titled "Biggest Bear Taken"...our something along those lines). Anyways, I'll tyrya nd post pics of the '09 bear later..
