Bear Tag for Muley Hunt

I know that bear and deer seasons overlap and was wondering if it is worth getting a bear tag just in case I get the opportunity while muley hunting. I'm in D8 this year.

When I hunt D5 around 6-8000 I usually see 3 or 4 during the deer season. I didn't see any when up 10-11,000 though. I can't help you on D8 since I have never hunted there but the areas I hunt always seem to have bears. This year I may even get a tag for them

Considering they are less than $30 GET ONE,,you never know what might walk by you and it would suck to have a clean shot but no tag( you know how Murphys' law is) .

I know we usually have a few in D9 (just saw one yesterday) and there is usually a random black bear in most areas of Souther Ca. so I buy one every year.

I look at lt like this, The tag money(or at least some of it) goes back into the wildlife anyway, Or at least so say our elected buerocrats!!

I would get one, as I see several every time I hunt in d7.

There are lots of bears in D-8...

Some are HUGE.
