Best and Worst of Tred Barta....

Man, I've been busting a gut reading this post. "Butt shot peccary", you guys definitely have your Tred opinions.

He's a ding-dong, but what I do like about him is the entertainment. Nothing else like him on TV. I especially like an elk episode that showed the elk being butchered. Loved that part of the show.

Wonder what the show would be like with some of us on instead of Tred.
If I was on nobody would watch for fear of falling into a coma.
Arrowslinnger would probably be entetraining with all his extra curricular activities like stabbing himself and such.
Yep if I had to pick one JHOer to watch on tv it'd be AS.
But Tred would be right behind him. Way more entertaining than this thread. You guys are all boring, boring, boring.

There's lot's of entertaining hunting shows on that don't potray hunters as idiots. I'm curious if anyone know's Tred Barta's past? Did he come up in the ranks of fishing and hunting through pure knowledge and talent, and get endorsements for his show this way. Or did he have money to begin with and just started throwing crap on film???

It amazes me that a guy would actually stab a mackenzie pig target and act like he is in training. Yes I do shoot at the same targets with my bow at 20 yards, and picking a spot.

I'd rather be boring than track gut shot animals all night, or drive to the hospital with a guide or hunting partner that I just stuck with a knife.
