A little follow up to earlier responce,after 10 years of applying,finally drew a "GREAT " TAG in Nv.Unit 231 is as good as most have heard.The archery bull elk hunt was different in 2005,because of all the water.Usually an archer hunts water/wallows on the Late Aug opener,but this year this was out.After sitting a Blind over water at Prime Time with only small bulls coming in,plan was changed.With bulls now making "NOICES" chasing bugles was a possibility.On the 5th day of the hunt I was able to get into range of a Good bull,making a 1 shot double lung hit on a 6X7 at 23 yds.To My surprise,the bull had NO G-2S,but still a solid ELK,My best archery kill to date.Hopfully the image will come through ---
