Nice cutters, thanks for sharing. Story?

Story goes like this...One of my partners that leases this property..(poor guy is a tax cpa and just had to get out of the office) anyway he went down to check our ground for turkeys for the weekend. With a new flush of rain the conditions were perfect for pigs anyway. He had walked most of the west and south sides of the property. No turkeys and no pigs.

There was about 10 minutes of like left when he came over the last hill. With the truck in sight he decided to sit for a moment and watch an area that regularly shows pigs. After sitting 5 minutes out trotts this nasty boar. He stops half way acroos the opening at around 200 yards. The shooter levels down with his .264 and puts one right behind the ear. The boar tips over for a moment and as Ger starts toward him the boar pops back up and runs into the live oaks...I mean thick live oaks.

Now with darkness upon him and the last thing he heard was some thrashing and squeeling in the brush. Another shell gets chambered as he turns on his head lamp to head into the brush. The pucker factor is pretty high at this point. Usually when you hit something behind the ear they are done. Well as it turned out Boris was down for the count, but talk about a tough pig..the bullet entered behind the ear and exited the eye and he got up and went another 100 yards.

Now the Macgyver comes out. With a close to 300 pound beast on the ground and by himself Ger tries to figure how he will get his prize into the back of the pick up. Well he drags him to the edge of the brush where he can drive to, ties a rope around the giant boar and drags him with the pick up to the edge of a coulee then backs the truck up and drags him into the pick up.

Thank goodness for Ger the truck was only a couple hundred yards away from where he dispatched the beast.
