i opted out of the idaho elk hunt this year to chase big muleys in wyoming, my buddy just e-mailed the fruits
of his labor... DAMN WHAT A MONSTER!! MAKES MY BACK HURT JUST LOOKING AT HIM
dudes, this is all i got on the pics, i,ll see if i can squeeze a few more out off um, extremly knarly terrain,
he uses llamas to get um around back there, you can see a piece of the goat in the pic, note to self when
hunting with llamas, treat them well and they will take care of you when you need um!! also ,dont tick one off
as they like to spit!! and it stinks ,so i've been told...
stay tuned for official B&C score after dry period,
im guessing big #,s real big...
Dang that is one nice bull. Must have been a draw hunt. Saw three or four nice bulls taken in the unit we hunted but nothging near that good. My legs actually went numb when I saw the pic. I think they were telling me "don't even think about it" HA! Saw a cople of people with llamas where we were also. One group rented them. I think they said they were $30/day each animal. Money well spent if you get one though.
O.T.C. /D.I.Y idaho, got to love it ,stop to fill your gas tank up, grab a soda,
buy an elk tag, start hiking"for miles and miles" kill a big bull, cut it up,toss
it on the goats, and come on down the mountain... one of few states
you can buy a tag with no draw and gas up at the same time..
