Big kitty D9 opening weekend

I was glassing a group of does when this mountain lion came through and grabbed one up. I didn't have a stable way to record through Binoculars but I was able to capture some footage of the aftermath.

Negative, this was yesterday morning. Could be the same cat though, who knows. There's alot of em up there.

DFW has a video of 2 mtn lions that were killing backyard dogs near Sierra Madre, you may have seen it. It was shot in night vision and they were hunting like velociraptors. One cat would walk the fence line while the 2nd cat snuck up behind the dog barking at the fence cat. One video the mtn lion dragged the 100 lb lab over to the fence and i thought no way can it clear that 5 ft fence with that lab in its mouth and that cat just crouched down where you could see them big leg muscles and boing, right over the fence with ease. Impressive stuff.
