my friend, this is a sow, there is no game management when it comes to hogs on the ranches i hunt.. if its swine its mine, or i will not be allowed to hunt there.. i like a big boar here and there, but will walk a nasty boar anyday of the week for a tasty sow..
sure looks like a boar though with the big melon and ivory..:pig-laughing:

bd, solid as a rock they are!!! just set yours up for fingers, its the identical twin of mine... draw was a tad long,so i gave her a few twists and its golden now ,thanks again brother, and i hope to post a piggy with the twin eagle soon....
dang with 2 now, i,ll never buy another bow,ive had mine since 1990 and sent
it back once for a recondition overhaul.. most people think they are fragile,
but i can promise that they are not, this old girl has taken some abuse and
is still stacking um at the young age of 19!!! matt

I may even have the old modules kicking around for the various draw lengths (unless I sent them to you). I'd have to check. I know for a small cost if you contact Oneida they will send you all the modules as they do wear out or get lost. The Strike Eagle may even be too old to get the modules though, not sure. If you're interested in stepping up to the new Blackeagle ESC I have been thinking of selling mine :) 10x better than the old Oneidas (IMHO), much faster, quieter, shorter, less moving parts (much more simple to work on), lighter, and doesn't have that tree trunk thick grip. Just a thought ;-)

Where to aim at a pig with a bow?

I want to get a pig with my bow and I am curious where I should be aiming. I did a little search online and it seems the vitals are farther forward than expected. I have harvested a few with a rifle but I want to be extra sure with a bow. Any advice hatchet1 and others?

Sorry, I didn't mean to add it to the bottom of this thread.

IM SURE SOMEBODY HAS ONE OF THEM HOG DIAGRAMS AROUND HERE..HOGS HEARTS ARE FURTHER FORWARD AND LOWER..
LEGS ARE SHORTER THERE FORE IT CAN BE DECIEVING..YOU CAN ALWAYS LET THE AIR OUT OF THEM..SOMETIMES TRACKING SUCKS THOUGH DO TO LACK OF BLOOD..
THEY TEND TO SEAL DO TO THE FAT AND HYDES.. USE A GOOD BROADHEAD, MOST PREFER FIXED.. I SHOOT ROCKET EXPANDABLES AND FIND MORE HOGS AFTER THE HIT WITH THEM THAN I DUE WITH FREEKING COPPER!! EITHER WAY BRO, PRACTICE
ON A 3-D TARGET OF A HOG WAIT FOR THE SHOT TO PRESENT.. A BAD HIT ON
A HOG ALMOST ALWAYS RESULTS IN A LOST HOG..THERES MY OPINION..HOPE IT HELPS..
