Have an opportunity to hunt private land with wheat, some Pinyon/Juniper/Sage, close to the John Day river - looking for anyone with info on the area. Have been told it is good for mulies and elk?? It is a bow hunt, so any deer or elk over-the-counter tags, 7 days, DIY. Any info on the area would be great! Thanks in advance.
