What type of binoculars are best when I am wearing glasses. The set I have now I can only glass for a short period before it starts giving me a head ache. Any suggestions? And Im not trying to spend an arm and a leg, hunting has made me poor as it is!!!

You need binos that have twist or pull out eye cups so that you get the proper eye relief. Also the quality of the bino has alot to do with eye strain. Always get the best glass you can or can't afford They are a lifetime investment.

Like you, I wear glasses nearly all the time hunting and I really like my Bushnell Legends in 8 x 42. They are Phase coated, waterproof and have "Rainguard" which works even better than they advertise. With the eye cups down I have a very wide and clear field of view. this past weekend I was using them and saying to my buddy that I sure was glad I had bought this particular bino.

I nearly bought Burris Signature binos as they have an even wider field of view, but the Legend has the Rainguard and thats what made the differance for me.

I wear glasses but adjust my binocs to work without the glasses. I keep my glasses on a leash around my neck. I can't stand looking through my binocs with glasses on.

To use with glasses you need a pair with long eye relief. I wear my glasses while on a hunt and leave them on when glassing. I have a pair of Leupold 10X42 Cascades that work fine while wearing my glasses. I can use them all day and I always wear my glasses.

Shine, do yourself a favor and look into Lasik Eye Surgery. It does not cost as much as it did 3to5 years ago. I had my eyes done almost two years ago and I know have 20/15 vision and I can see things with the naked eye now that I could not see with glasses before. Especially in full sunlight, the glare on the glasses just won't let you see everything thats out there. The freedom of not needing glasses lets me have a better choice in products that I buy.
