So I hunted with Clayton Gant from Bitterwater Outfitters the other weekend and harvested a few meat hogs. Didn't think to take any pics of my hogs because they weren't anything special but I thought I would share some of the pics from some other hunts with Clayton to show you guys all the fun you have been missing out on. I have been hunting with Clayton for over five years now and taken more than a few hogs. Have read a few stories about half ass Oufitters and guides here on the hog forum and thought I would give my recommendation to anyone looking for a good guide service try Bitterwater Outfitters. I have been really happy with them. If anyone has any questions please feel free to email me and I'll answer any question about hunting with them. Scottfnsc@aol.com. I have been out to Bitterwater a few times with my clients and they have always produced for us no matter what type of animals we were after. It is a quality guided hunt.

My friend Don has only good things to say about that ranch and Clayton. If you read around here on the site, sum guys think he is cold or not to friendly. But I think he is just a country boy. My only dig is the same as all over this state... $$$$$ is to much. Pig is a rat.. don't treat it as a big game. lol Glad you have had so much fun. congrats on your hogs. BBQ time !!!

I have read that to but that never has been my experience. I think Clayton is so focused on getting his hunters pigs that it takes up a lot of his attention. Its a lot to deal with when you are guiding a hunter or hunters. When you get him one on one away from the field he has a good personality.

20130810_065042.jpg 20130810_065121.jpg My buddy went hog hunting a month ago with clayton and killed a great 200 pound boar with 3 1/8 inch and 2 7/8 inch tusks. it was a top notch hunt and we saw about 200 pigs on the trip. clayton definately works as much as he can to get you a hog and is a top notch outfitter.
