Not long ago, I scored 15 African trophies for a close friend of mine. He and I were hunting the same area last year when both of us took outstanding Blue Wildebeest. Although hunting apart (1x1) we both scored on the same day. He was notified over the weekend, this his bull will class as a gold medal trophy and will be ranked number 12 in their forthcoming record book. He plans on submitting his trophies to Roland Ward next.
Good hunting,
GGS

That's why I prefer to hunt areas where trophy management is practiced, or hunting has been limited or unknown. Age defines most African trophies. They have to live long enough to grow big :)
Good hunting,

my brother got back from south africa a few weeks ago. He got a blue as well. He shot another type of one (white or black?, not sure) as well. One of them scored platinum or diamond or something (has to wait for scoring), or at least thats what the guides said. He said the only words of english this guy knew was 'herd bull...herd bull'...pointing at this big bull it took them all day to seperate into a smaller group of bulls from a huge pack. I'll try to get a pic and see if he'll let me post...i'm jealous of the monster for sure, but not so much on the plane flight cost to get over there...ouch...
