I hate to say it but,
I'm gonna anyway.That is one of the worse taxidermy jobs I've ever seen.Did you do that yourself or actually pay for that.It looks like a cross breed coyote and hog mix.That is a prime example of getting what you pay for.

My mother always told me "if you don't have anything nice to say....Don't say it." I think this comment is extremely important here. The owner of this mount is extremely proud of it, otherwise he never would have posted the pic. And putting him down just because you don't like the mount is inappropriate to say the least. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean that someone else loves it. Next time just keep comments like that to yourself. If it was me that comment would have been extremely hurtful. Its not just what you said but HOW you said it. Just my two cents.....

500, it's probably not the best angle for a photo. Looks like it was taken from below. What don't you like, the ears?

I wouldn't mind seeing a view from the side and higher up if you get the chance jb. He's got good color.

Thanks for the comments everybody, it was the guides taxidermist so we just left the heads with them. I like it and I got it back pretty quick. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.

Yes,it was a bit harsh,I apologize.
Some opinions may be negative and some possitive.But I'm gonna tell it like it is.I'm not going to tip toe around anybodys feelings around here and feed em a bunch of BS to make them feel good.
2 tips:Never trust any taxidermy work with-out seeing it first.
The trophy is always worth the few extra bucks for a life time of enjoyment.
The entire job was done poorly.It looks like no body work was done to the face,head,shoulders,before the cape was installed,and the mouth is very un-natural.The lips are flared out too much,the teeth are too clean,obvious rush job.
I would pay double and wait twice as long to have it done right.

AMEN to that. If the guy posted the pic and asked for it to be critiqued, than that would be different. I used to frequent another site www.taxidermy.net but I rarely go there now because I grew so weary of all the mean spirited comments and petty critisizing of any and everything. It's a shame because there's a lot of good info there but you have to wade through all the mud to glean it out. I hope this forum doesn't turn out like that.
