Here is the mount of the boar I got at Choppers place. Nice tusk (3.5 ")

I like the character, torn ear, white hair underneath and down center of head...

Can't wait to head back this fall...

Nice pics bubba. Looks like they did a good job on your mount. I hope you have a good place to mount it.

Fighting the wife on it. She says garage, I say over the fireplace in my pool room. It might have to go to my dads bar until this is worked out...

The mount looks awesome Jesse !!! I know the feeling of fighting with the wife over these kind of things
<
Luckily she likes the euro mount of the boar I got that weekend. Would be a different story though if it were a shoulder mount

Nice Mount. Yeah, sounds a lot like my wife. My office won't be big enough for my elk mount if/when I finally get one done.

Looks Real Nice Jesse,
And I agree with you...over the fireplace is a fittin' place to display it...I got my Boar Javelina over my fireplace in "MY" den, along with some other assorted mounts and a whole "World" of sports memorabilia...and it looks so-o good there, just may have to leave it if I ever was to move! Naw, just kiddin'...but when Midbrook gets his 380+ Bull (and he WILL get it) we'll get it in his office if I gotta use a shoehorn and a come-along!

We've got a spiral staircase. I had envisioned painting a mural of natural habitat with a partially blue sky ceiling/upper walls and having a flock of ducks cupped and landing (suspended by fishing line) in the spiral well.

Of course, I thought this would have been awesome.....But, it was a good counter-balance to "no mounts in this house" so I got the greenlight on turning the office into a trophy room over the coming years.

Now I realize that if we ever sell off our house and rental to build something else such as a retirement home, there'll need to be approval for a "game room" before any ground is broken...

Sure you can BT.

As a matter of fact I might be able to get you a discount...

Anyways guys. When I was there, I seen some huge tusk from a previous kill. Made mine look small.

I would love another group hunt out there, but after a new truck AND car for my wife, I'll be scraping the bottom of the barrell for the funds. Jesse, when were you planning on heading back up there?

Sounds like a plan to me but I would be out until January, maybe Dec but that's a stretch.

Great looking pig Bubba. I think you should put your foot down with the wife and tell her where you are putting it.

Awesome hog. I love it.

I am ready for a hunt at Choppers. First of Dec would be best but, would try to work whatever dates come up.
