Montana13 -

The answer to your question is that they hunt the wilderness portion of Area #84, also known as Lower Hoback, which includes Horse Creek Drainage.

I can attest that we saw no other hunters in the area guided or un-guided.

The stream fishing there is also out of this world. A number two Meps spinner will fill your limit of cut throat trout in no time.

We also saw a ton of large, and I mean large, mule deer. I also have several pictures of big bull moose that I came in contact with (well within 50 to 100 yards).

Happy to answer your questions. Let me know if you have any more.

Duknutz - Did you meet with them at the show? How did your run-in with the other outfitter go?

db,
Sorry about the delay,I've haven't been on the puter in a couple days.Well I got there with a couple other buddies and saw the Winterhawk booth.I heard they were not going to be there,my buddy double checked on the ISE web page and he said they werent listed.Anyway,by the time I met up with him,he had already been to the booth. So I didn't get to see first hand what he said or did.My fault,I was busy filling out my paperwork for my drop camp for this year also. But he told me the owner was not there and the guy that was there was one of the packer/wranglers that was on his hunt.He said this guy was cool, but he told him that none of them have ever been contacted by the owner about the hunt. This guy remembered my buddy when he started talking to him and I guess shook his head.I haven't heard if any of the other guys went to the show,or ran into the owner there or not.....
I'll keep you informed if any news comes up,I had him check my story on the forum to make sure nothing was incorrect and he said it looked good and he can give me more if needed.....
