Edit Title ** OUR Property**
Whats going on guys,
I was wondering if anyone who has a property with a large amount of hogs can give me any pointers. My girlfriends family has a 50 acre property up in Sonoma county and has been seeing a large number of hogs on it lately. I have personally seen a large group once. (grabbed the family 30-30 but missed from 50 yrds with the iron sights) There is a few tapped springs that bring year round water and creeks onto the property and plenty of cover close by. Any other keys to keeping the hogs there or brining them onto the property? Ive heard of creosote poles, and kool aide although not sure on the legality of both but definitely want to keep things by the book...
I am going up there to turkey hunt next weekend and am going to set up a game cam, but is there anything else I can do to hold the hogs on the property? Any help would be appreciated!!!Hope the shotgun blast doesn't scare them away for too long.
ig-laughing:
Thanks!
