We didn't see as many hogs as we did exotics on this trip, but here is a cool little photo series from the Texas exotic + pig hunt of a pig that Indianghost shot. We were driving down one of the roads when we saw a dark spot in the road, about 400 yards out. Indianghost jumps out of the truck and begins slipping in and out of the brush line, trying to close the distance on the pig.
Indianghost makes up the ground quickly as he makes it to a large cedar tree. By this time, the pig is has started running towards him. Indianghost, concerned that the pig will bust him, gets down and prepares to take a shot.
A shot rings out and the pig is down! Indianghost raises his rifle to salute victory and is thankful for the harvest. Turns out to be a perfect sized 60 pound sow.
