Ids anyone familiar with the Eterna by Brunton? I see that they are phase coated, with a lifetime warranty, twist up eye cups, waterproof, fully multicoated lenses...and MidSouth Shooters Supply has 10 x 42's at $285.00!!! Cabelas has them at about $420.00.
Last year I did compare them in astore against the Weavers and Nikon-the eterna's felt comfortable and were at least as good optically as the other two.
Also, in the March issue of NRA American Rifleman, in the article about the new Brunton Epoch, "Brunton claims its prism assembly is the most secure on earth as it is secured by five set screws." I'm presently waiting for a call back from their product manager, I'll let you know if all of this is true.. but in the mean time-any comments on them?
