You know Irish - it only stayed hot until Sunday...then of course the moon came out. But you should see this place with no moon and at only 75 degrees max... hunting heaven. The moon is pretty predictable, but I know you hate the heat... so I arranged it with the "Hunting Gods"- no "hotter than hell day" on your next trip... deal?

Irish hates the heat. I'm not very fond of it either.

Those turkey birds should look pretty familiar to Bearclaw- that's home boy's roost ,the one you hunted Bearclaw (For about 5 minutes in- between hoggin) Didn't you name him "Tommy" or something like that?

Deedy, you are killin me! Were those pics snapped in the last few days since we left? That is pouring salt in the wounds!

irishunter, put down the darn camera and fling an arrow! How close were you? You look well within bow range. Or do you have a fancy zoom lens on that camera?

SDHUNTR - Irish took his photos the day before you got here- the others were (in my post ) taken the weekend before you got here. Don't worry there all still here- getting fat.

Good. That would have really pissed me off if those suckers just came out and stood at 30 yards now that we aren't there anymore.

I plan to drag a pig off that place by end of spring, I left enough sweat on that place I had better offset that weight with removal of a barley barrell, aka three hundred pound soft skinned armadillo, aka a hog.

My montecs have been bitchin to me since I got back, I promised them blood, I hate to let them down, they expect more from me.

My three year old asked me where my boar was, I told him I didn't get one and he asked me to go back and get it, cause I told him I would get him a big toofed hog.

Great stories guys, I really wish I could write like that.

Billrob- Bearclaw cheats, he is from Missouri where they talk like that naturally. As far as SD, well it's innate.Or learned . Or both. Just practice a lot of slang adjectives, improper nouns and hyphenated descriptive verbs, I think. Oh yeah and leave off the words like in, and, the . Remove any necessary commas. That's all there is to it. Really good stuff. Pulitzer Prize material.
You'll get it, no doubt in my mind.

Bearclaw- the three year old not having his pig could be traumatizing, we better fix this...you got my e-mail right? Let's do it!

Billrob boating/hogging is on. Deal

Missouri, what the heck. Didn't you see my belt buckle, GEORGIA, land of the free and home of the brave. Where men are men, and critters are food. Where talk is cheap, and so is housing, comparativly speaking of course, squirrels live in trees, and where the Bulldogs rule.

Deedy I got it, got to verify some dates, but will be back up yonder soon, I would hate for my sons to think daddy doesn't mean what he says.

Especially with that killer accent you have and your southern charm. You know us California blond chicks ...

Dirtpoor got into the hogs last night. Nice groups of 10-14 I've never seen. More Calicos for you Bearclaw- he said there was tiger striped ones too... Lost one set of big black hogs we were on and bumped into these. I'll let him tell the story though. I just thought Id let you know about the calico sightings because those are your very favorite. The Georgis/Missouri thing I could screw up, but never, ever your favorite hogs.
