hi all,

new to the site, however been out with Jesse's group many times.....many years ago. Great group of folks!

I grew up in LA. Left CA in my late teens. Live in Utah now. I try to come back and chase hogs at least once a year on Tejon. That being what it is, I'm headed to LA for work this week and some weekend play. Looked at FHL but don't think many areas will be available and what type of pressure the hogs are seeing now that Tejon is out. So, I came across Bryson while surfing the ne and thought it would be cool to go out and do the trespass deal. Now that I have read the posts, not sure I will go that route.

I have an option to go out with Jack at Hog Canyon Hunts. Any of you guys familiar with Jack and his operation?

thanks

Can't say I am familiar with his operation. Could give you a few leads if you wanna do a fully guided hunt, not a trespass deal.

His place is ok- Jack runs a smooth operation
The only problem is that its not very big and the surrounding ranches hammer the pigs. They are pretty leary
I would look into The Jack ranch or the lazy arrow

I have hunted with Hog Canyon Hunts on two occasions. There are pigs on the property, when Jack's barley is popping. Otherwise, the pigs are passing through. Last I checked, he was booked up for May, but had some openings in June.

Jack does run a good operation and he works hard, but like said earlier, it's a small ranch.
