Bryson Resort Easter Hunt

OK so if you all remember, Tracker 13 won the JHO /Bryson Resort turkey archery draw on Jesse's here about a month ago. So, I'm going to post as much as can to keep you all updated on this hunt.
But Jesse is on his way up- a day early with JHO member Westy - and he's got all his toys. Jesse will be providing us with his skilled turkey calling and blind placement strategy. The birds are split up right now pretty good and taking them with a stick and string is quite the challange-


We will be pig hunting (private & at FHL) here too this weekend but I'll try to keep this going...I'll make everyone post... or I'll take away the keys to their cabins

Well, I just spoke with Jesse ... he's running a little late. I don't think he'll be here at midnight like he planned. Probably more like 3:30 AM. What do you guys think, should I set the alarm for 5:00 AM? Maybe I should let him sleep in until 5:30 AM?

Nah, make him get up at 5:00am. When you are going hunting, there is no such thing as "too early".

You won't need an alarm, the sun should be up for a couple of hours before Jesse arrives

You guys were pretty right on the money, they drove all night and got here right at sunupish. I weakened and let them sleep-

only till 9:00 AM though.

Ok guys here's the scorecard so far:

Turkey Misses: 1 Excuse: Faulty Equiptment

Pig Misses: 1 Excuse: Pig's error/ turned the wrong way at the last second and avoided bullet

Blinds are in place ... turkey birds in the morning
Serious hog hunting tomorrow night & Sunday morning

Deedy just got home safe.

All i can say for now is awesome hunt ,first class operation, family friendly and great company.
