Has anyone been down to Deedy's place recently. My brother and I are looking to book a semi-guided hunt with her in the next few months. I have heard a lot of good things about her place, but never hunted there.

Thanks
JD

A buddy and I went down on Monday for a "scouting" trip and we are going this Monday (16th) for our hunt. After talking to her, if your looking to book for the next couple months you better call now. Deedy says shes booked through June.

You can still get in here, I've got dates open through June.
There should be some pretty good reports coming in from last week, we've been slaying 'em.

Bobby7321,
Thanks for sharing the picture of your harvest. My younger brother and I are hoping to get down to Deedy's place in May. My brother is looking forward to his first pig hunt. He hunts bears every year, so he will "owe me" if he gets a pig. Nice job on the pigs and 3 generations of hunters is great.

Thanks
JD

Bobby,

That picture says everything about this great sport. Thanks for posting. Does Hesperia Resort take you guys to FHL, or do they have private property?

Hi Map,
We hunt private land. Our website is on the link below, go to the "Hunting" tab. Thanks for your interest!

My son is a starving college student. Can he tag along free for a semi-Guided hunt?

Map,
Throw the kid a bone. Pay for his hog hunt and he could ride down with me. That would save him some gas money.

Thanks for the offer. This time of the year, with taxes and all, it's a good time for hunting establishments to think about donations to evangelize a University, When I visited San Jose State's, El Paseo De Cesar Chaves Way, where the booths are, it was dominated by the Political Left. Not one outdoors booth anywhere. UC Davis is one exception with a fly fishing club.

I got a quick question, the $200.00/day deal. Does it include only one hunter or multiple?

I mean suppose me, my dad, my cousin and Map's son goes is it still $200.00/day or $800.00/day ???? :smiley_doh::smiley_doh:

It's 200 per day per hunter, 1 pig per day limit. I do allow people to bring a guest, but they may not enter the field with a gun. No guarantees on the hunt, but we do work hard here to get you on them. Thanks!

That sounds great, thanks. I assume that I could be the guest, and let my son do the hunting? The little guy has already shot a boar in Training Area 29, so he learned that they don't always stay down. He has his 2009 Hunting license, pig tag, and prefers his 30-06.
