ok, just bought a $6.83 BSA 4X15 scope for my .22 lr semi-auto (not a cheapskate, i'm 13). I was wandering if anyone could give me advice on it or had any info about it.
BSA is not a terrible optics maker for the money, but I would return the one you bought and get one with a larger objective lense. Nothing wrong with a straight 4 power scope, but the 15mm objective will not let in much light (even in the day time) and you don't get a very big picture when looking through it either. I would get at least a 30-32 mm objective. Say a 4 x 32 or even a variable 3-9 x 32 scope. You should be able to get something for $30.00 or less. Take a look at WalMart........
i kept the 4X15, but i did go back to wal-mart and got a 4X32 with simmons rings. haven't had a chance to sight it in, thinkin about this weekend though
