Does anybody Shoot with Burris optics? If so what power scope do you use? I've been looking into the Burris Black Diamond 4x-16x-50mm, and I think I'm nearly 100% set on this scope, but I always ask myself if I really need the 16x or if I should go with the fullfield II scope in the 4.5x-14x-42? I have narrowed my choices down to these two and I need someone to tip the scale one way or another for me, thanks

I have a Fullfield II in 3-9x40 and another in 4.5-14x42. I think they are both great scopes, but I think the 3-9x40 is much more versitile. In closer range situations, the 4.5 magnifications's field of view is pretty limited.

What do you plan on using it for? For prarie dogs or something the 16X would be useful but for whitetails it would be a waste and you really need something that goes lower than 4X imho.

I have a Fullfield II in 3-9x40 with Balistic Plex crosshairs mounted on my Ultimate Muzzleloader and I love it. If you are after whitetails this setup will do you just fine.
