I think it is posted in error. the same post is in the turkey forum and is charging $100 kill fee.

Can you verify, cause $300 for a one day hog hunt on a place that holds hogs with good odds of getting one aint bad at all!!

Deedy,
One question. If I book a two day hunt, can I shoot two hogs?

Hi JHO'ers
Not an error on the post. We still do offer a guided hunt package for 700.00, but we also do a semi-guided flat rate of 200.00 a day (just like Karin posted).
The pig hunts are 200.00 a day, one pig per day limit. So to answer your question L2H, yes, you can book a two day semi-guided hunt and take 1 pig per day. No extra charge on the hog. Our hunters are running at 90% on take, 99% on opportunity, and that is with rifle. Rifle or archery. No dogs.

The turkey hunts are 200.00 a day + 100.00 each turkey you take. Limit 3 turkeys per person per Fish & Game Regs.

Cheers! Deedy & Karin

Wow.Sounds like a good deal. Do hunters have to use your lodging,or can they just camp on their own?

jls, I've stayed in Deedy's lodging and it beats the hell out of camping and at $75.00 per person per night it's a hell of a deal. Comfortable beds, Kitchen, Private bath, Heater, T.V. with VCR and your right in camp with a BBQ and good company. Deedy has videos you can watch, plus while sitting around the camp she has plenty of stories to tell.

RW, I want to try and get down there in the next week or so, on a weekday, for a meat pig, which means a rifle hunt for me until I get something in da freezer... are you strictly a bow hunter and/or can you hunt weekdays??

Backcountry,

Yes, I am a stick bow guy. I have an old .308 that I have not shot since 1990 :)
I probably can not swing a weekday hunt, as much as I would love to. Just with the kids, wife and work.
Go get 'em bud. Lock and load.

Deedy/Karin,
Is lodging included at those prices? Great deal eitherway but that would make it a smoking deal! If not, anyplace we can set up a camp nearby?
