Batch61 I was there third period bull. The cow hunters were sitting the creek lined with trees between the two fields and were getting a few chances as the elk would come to water. the one cow hunter even told me that he passed up a few shots the first two days because he thought it was going to be a easy hunt big mistake. I did see a herd of cows on the east side with some bulls and let me tell you those cows are a lot spookier than the bulls in my opinion. They busted me every time, not the bulls.

Congrats for everyone that drew. This makes the 22nd year I've been passed over for Tule elk. Have one huge American (Rocky Mountain) and a real good Roosevelt elk, but no Tule. Hope I can get a tag before I'm too old to hunt. I did score tags for a couple other states, though.

Ed I took a bull out of the Bishop heard almost 10 years ago now, boy time flys. I know it's was quite sometime ago but send me a email if you need some info.
