Why do people say X zone tag without saying which Zone?

Some of the zones have very few tags available. The more you talk about those zones and how much you like hunting them then the more people apply for them. That causes the points that it takes to draw the tag to increase. If the minimum point total goes up by a couple of points that means I have to wait 2 more years before I can go back. If no one ever talked about G-3 do you think it would still be a max point zone?? Guys on here talk about X9 all of the time. They complain that it now takes more than 5 points to draw it when 3.5 used to work. If no one ever talked about X9 then maybe you could get it with less points.

I stopped posting reports on my small local lakes when I fish them for the same reason. Too many guys are now fishing the spots I used to fish and some of them called me by name while I was out fishing and told me they fished it because I posted about that spot.
It isn't just members who read about hunting on the forums, lots of guys read hunting forums but never join or add anything.
