This past weekend, 15-18 August, while after Bear and deer with my Mathews in D-8 I really tested my Cabelas Alaskan Guide binos, thus far I am very impressed. I didn't get to try them in the rain, but dusk to dawn I was behind those glasses, and never had a problem, they were plenty bright, with an exceptional image.
I also tested my bushnell legend pro scout, it also worked flawlessly, I had ranges out to 700 or so yards on large rocks,and out to 400plus on bears. Like my Binos I didn't get to test them in the rain, but spent a lot of time behind them and found them to be great.
