Really? I guess they have a pretty large mailorder. I wonder who really is there biggest client, that would be interesting.

I work in E-Commerce and anytime UPS makes a mistake, they will credit us back, so In turn we will credit the customer. I am sure since it is there mistake they will have to be involved in the compensation.

Return receipt is the only way to prove the apps were received by the F&G dept. Then if you were not entered you'd have a leg to stand on. Not sure if F&G would give you tag then or not. DIdn't that happen in CA recently?

I would have been glad that these people had gotten the shaft if I thought it'd reverse the trend that these services such as TAGS, Huntin' Fool, & USO et. al. are causing. If I am too freakin' lazy to research where to go & hunt I can pay someone to do it for me--it's a big departure from the tradition of hunting imo. They can really screw up the draw odds of where you're trying to hunt if one of 'em dubs it "a sleeper", "low densities but monsters found", "wallhangers tied to trees with rope thru bullrings in their noses" etc. ad naseum. I don't want to add to their coffers by subscribing just so I apply somewhere other than their "recommended quality" units.

it's Cabela's

The reason these services are popular is because they front the fees, which are more than most people want in limbo for 3-4 months, especially if they are apply for several states. . If the non-res fees were lower, there would be less call for these services.
