Called in hen?

I called in two hens but no gobbler or even gobbling in distance should there be a Tom or jake around?

Not necessarily, a lot of times I find that hens come to the calls and it seems like a territorial thing. They come in to see who's intruding on their spot. Just an opinion on what I've experienced over the years. I always find encounters (even with hens) not only a behavioral learning experience but also exciting. Well done.

1 Tom 2 Jakes and 6 hens showed up today never into bow range but I know where to be now. Rock cod fishing tomorrow then salmon opener Saturday then fresh turkey Sunday is the plan.
