It was 24 degrees at 9:00 am in Lockwood yesterday.  Since we use a tent while hunting, we decided that a nighttime temp. of 17 degrees near the coast was just too cold.

songdog, i think he means the town of lockwood on the central coast, not the valley near frazier park.

I was speaking of the town (wide spot in the road) of Lockwood just outside of FHL.

I'll take 105 degrees any time.  After I moved back from Hawaii, it took years before I would take my jacket off below 80 degrees.

Last time we hunted Parkfield it reached 117 degrees during the hot part of the day.  We sat on the porch between noon and 5 pm.
