I'm new here, you can call me yahoo if you want.
I have never experienced blind hogs.
They may not have the best in optics, but don't sell them short.
Hunting pressure can make a big difference.
I've hunted few spots where the hogs weren't expecting me and were very calm. I've hunted behind other hunters (had the wind) and every pig in the area is springloaded. If they seen anything they didn't like, they were out of there in a hurry.

All my experinces were bowhunting on the ground.

My best freind works for Yahoo.
I dont know what he wears to work but when were hunting we almost always wear camo.
Everyone knows that prior to the eighties. mammals never cared weather the hunter dressed snappy or not but after the animal dignity act of 1981 all respectful hunters are required to at least make an attempt to blend in to the surrounding terrain.
So if you dont want to wear it you don't have to but your lack of respect will be showing for everyone to see. Dont be lame just wear it. nobody said you had to dress like Bird Dawg but it's obvious to me that he truly respects the hell out of the envioronment otherwise why would he try to dress like a rainbow?

You want to look good in picture taking. You would not want to hog to look better than you in the picture.

Actually deer are not color blind contrary to many beliefs, look it up. At any rate, since I bow hunt mostly most of my good hunting clothes are camo. So come rifle season I tent to wear them, but not always. I always top it off with some orange though.
