Camp Roberts 7/26 -7/27

First off I would like to Boar Tracks CA for the maps and the information about CR. Sorry I missed you this weeked I would still like to buy you a cold one (your choice). I will schedule time on the next hunt. Since it was my first itme there I tended to do more scouting than setting up for a hunt. Here's my animal count for the weeked:

Pigs: None, but enough sign to convince me to come back and work harder.
Deer: 2 large Does and 3 fawns. Sepreate sightings
Quail: 2 very large coveys and big birds. No small ones, second hatch?
Dove: 2 Big flocks
Coyote: 1 young one
Trout: 3, Hunting? yes I know but one has to eat lunch somewhere
Turkey: None

Dunno if I met you? A couple of folks were introduced with handles, and others used their real names. I can't remember either... sorry.

Anyway, looks like the Blacktail hunting forum is getting some activity about the hunt this weekend.

I missed meeting you also, but did see your truck parked on the side of the road for the Saturday evening hunt. I hunted a couple of ridges east of you that night.
