Our group shot 7 hogs this weekend and i got the biggest. Im trying to post the pictures but there to big i cant figure out how to bring em down to fit ill keep messing with it.

I saw ya'll when I went by going and coming from Cholame, and wondered if that was JHOers.

A speck Ya we were by the tracks and so were alot of other people it was a mad house in the area were we shot the hogs with people. ill send some pictures to you thanks.

Looked like a fairly busy weekend.

I haven't been there since Lowell (BoartracksCA) got shipped out. Sounds like the hunting is still good, though!

9 of us but only 7 hunters my dad got caught with his glasses off when a hog came out at 20 yards he shot 3 times and missed man was he in disbalieve. i herd the shots so i went over to see if he got the hog. he was showing me were he was sitting and as hes telling me this another lonly bore came out in the open about 800 yards down the mountain and i start my way down the hill it dissapeared on me then it came out again still about 800 yards so i run to the truck which is 75 yards from me and i go down the mountain when i see him at 70 yards up the hill i struggled to get my gun out of the gun rack and this hog is just walking finally the gun releases from the gun rack and i get out of the truck and fire the shot when i hear the hog squell yes i got him. the reason why this hog didnt run i found out when i was cleaning it out was someone had shot it with it looked to be a 22 round it was hit in the front shoulder and still bleading. I need to get these pictures up. my cousins scored saturday and sunday. long stories.

hey rudy we were camped right by you our group got 2 hogs same area we talked to you at the check in station when they were wieghing them we are going to be there memorial wekend see you there vern

Luck pure luck I would like to get it mounted i need to call around does anyone know the average price for a hog mount the teeth measured 1/8 inch shy of 2 inches. My cousins got in last on saturday morning when they started up the mountain to a spot when a single hog came out in the open field they shot but missed it.They headed back to the truck when about 30 more came out and my cousins and his friend shot 1 each. The next morning i told them go back to that spot about the same time they will be back sure thing 4 came out at 6:30 am they got all four.I should have gotten pictures but we were packing after we cleaned them and went are way home. clinton i hope to see you there next month.

Gunner Congrats on your hogs. there was a lot of pork and turkey taken out of CR this past weekend i also got to call in a couple of turkeys up to 25 yards but i messed up i was hidden good till i peaked to see them and they spooked because i had my hunter orange hat on. i forgot i had it on. No brainer. I ran into another couple of turkeys i shot one but it jumped over the fence into private land and kept running. it was a awsome weekend.

You guys are killing me now. I talked to Gunner Friday night. I was headed to LA for a superbike race. Both of you, remind me of these these hunts. As both of you know, gunner for being in the buisness and rudy for seeing new homes going up everywhere in town, I am piled up with work. I am my own boss so I can get the time off. I have been working crazy hours. I need to get away!! You both have my cell #.
