Do you have to pre apply for camp bob or can you do it on site ?? I know this is late but I just got back on. After changing my ISP.

This Memorial weekend will be our first trip up to camp Roberts and any suggestions you have to offer would be great. What time do the gates close, and is tent camping allowed on base? I look forward to meeting some of you and having a great hunting weekend!

Tents are not allowed on base. To camp in an RV you have to call the billetting office. There is a turn out right as you get get off the 101. A lot of guys camp there.

OK. I talked to Boartracks on the phone today. Let me see if I can get all this right. If you're going to camp on base, you have to first go in the main Camp Roberts gate.(the first exit) Tell them you're there to hunt and tell them you have weapons with you that you need to check in at the PMO. After checking in you can go to the campground. In the morning you have to go back to the PMO to get your gun, leave out of the main gate and go to the East Garrison and get in line. and check in at the window. After hunting for the day you have to check the guns in every night.

I'll be doing my crutch duty, If you take the motorhome I can guard it for all the beer I can drink.
