Another great service is Google Local. Same type of thing, but just nothing to download. I would recommend some sort of high speed internet connection though as it might take the images longer to load.

once you get familiar with how yo use google earth, its awesome! you can scope out your spots ahead of time and use the gps cords to fing new spots. pics are pretty detailed...see the following of the checkin station. Any of you familiar will recognize the big white concrete barriers!
