Team Tusker, thanks for the offer to help, but Team Judo and Team Cali don't need blind luck to find hogs. We know where they are...

Just spent the last 5 hours dialin in the Babby-G as uasual she is shooting like a one legged tropper. i am being asked to test some new broadheads from the local shop. Teken2 by montec. we have all heard how this broadhead and that one fly just like your feid points, but we all know it takes the proper tuning to achive this, now i hear the trad people comming to knock me down with all th etuning stuff.

But these BH's flew great right out of the box and did hit exactly where my FT hit, scarey, even my other BH's only grouped with in an inch or two but these were shaft slappin.

Shaft Slappin?

What range you shooting those at? 20-30-50-60

Im practicing the long shots and I just got some of the Snyper XP3 mechanicals have yet to try them though. I'm interested to find some that will truly do what they claim when they state" flies just like a field tip".

i was shooting out to 50 today i am not fortunate enough to own one of thoose tack drivers everyone i know shoots, my Babby-G only has a 5 inch brace height and is one of the hardest bow to shoot so i am told by many that have been shooting for 20 or more years. yes they are expandable but thet are built well nad i have the confendence they will be fine.

by accident today i shot a galvi pole
<
and all it did to the tip was put a slight bend in it BUt it cut the pole about 3/16 deep and still flew great. try that with a thunder head or muzzy. do not get me wrong here i started with thunder heads and shoot mussy 4 blades now BUT we will see what happends this weekend.
But nothing will fly right with out the proper bow tuning.

it has taken me quite a while the find the sweet spot with my bow while my freinds can move thier arrowws all over the target with any broadhead but not the Babby-G which they have all shot for years.

do not buy a babby-G unless you have patence a lot of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as food goes for this trip, what are we missing?

I'll bring the marinated carrots and onions, salsa, chips. I'll bring some desert stuff. What else?

I took the kids shooting this weekend to the archery club. I was shooting good. I can't wait boys.

Hey AS,

I don't think that little paper cut Pigig got on turkey day is enough to get him into the Club. What do you think?

Good luck to you all!

During recent review of the video & photos taken during the highly publicized Oregon vs California Hog Hunting Competition, some major infractions where uncovered upon reviewing each still photo one at a time....seems as if the following 'rule violations' were committed:

1. Shooting wet sows, well not really shooting them, but at them.
2. Giving Team CA too much Crown & Diet Pepsi, this is a friendly competition, not Prom!!
<

3. Letting the air out of Pigig truck tires.
4. Turning our alarm clocks off in hopes of us sleepin' in.
5. ummm, i'm sure there's more.........

Factor that in plus the wounding of damn near 5 hogs and Team CA should be considered the champions.....yep, we actually won.
