I'm sure you noticed the recent entries that look surreal, taken with a smart phone with an HDR program or an editing program. It pushes the limits of what Is a "photo" as it's in no way what your eyes saw. Unless you were on mushrooms. Thanks

Man that's a touch call. To me it seems as if the background looks more natural in the top pic. But the foreground colors in the bottom pic look more natural. But I would guess the top is the actual pic because it seems that the resolution and sharpness is not quite as good as the bottom.

I would say that it is the other way around based on the coloration of the clay pot and soil as known baselines, seems like more red/purple has been added to the baseline to get the photoshoped hue of the top photo.

I agree, the top one looks unnatural in the coloring of the flowers.

What pictures is wedgy referring to in the previous contests. Some I see seem to have the contrast adjusted a bit but I haven't seen any recent ones where color was an issue. Just curious.

Of the 2 here as stated dirt is generally brown, as in the 2nd photo.
As to last months photos, the ones that don't look natural. I really don't think it' that difficult to spot. Very nice to have the participation level up from previous months !
Thanks !

Yeh the second photo is the original un photoshopped, my note 3 Smartphone has an incredible 1080 HD resolution in a 6 in. Screen size. Just think about it the newest big screens like 42" 54" 60" TVs are 1080 HD resolution and look awesome so my smartphone having the same resolution in such a small screen size with all that 1080 pixel the pictures just pop with incredible color and definition.
But I love my phone I can do any kinda of effects or editing with photos.........tra
