Ok Im BBq ing some of my liitle boar, my bro in law says freeze it for a month first, to kill tricinnosis?? well SO whats the scoop?

Im not frezzing it I'm cooking well and eating.????

Trichnosis shouldn't be much of a concern either way (it's actually pretty rare), but cooking well will serve the purpose anyway. No need to freeze it for a month.

Oh, by the way... cooking "well" doesn't mean turning it into shoe leather. Medium well is about as done as it needs to be, and the meat will dry out fast at that point and beyond. Well done... may as well eat cardboard.

cut it 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 wrap it in tin slice bacon salt and pepper throw it in the grill......yammmmmmy

Howdy valley, hey I got that hog about 35 miles east of Visalia in Tulare county, you klnow where Thompson ranch is? it was near there.

Just zap it to 170 degrees and you dont gotta worry about anything. Meat thermometers are handy
