They just released 2 new lenses too - I assume you already knew that. But I've got the new 70-300 IS on order already. My 75-300 IS has been on backorder at Abes of Maine for more than a month and now I know why. They told me $150 more and I can have the new 70-300 instead. 3rd generation IS, better optics and coatings, faster AF - I think it was worth it. Man am I gonna baby that thing when it comes though. This photography thing is putting REALLY big holes in my pockets!
Don't know how much that 5D will drop the price of the 20D - they're kinda two different classes - not really a succesor, just something different. But for your sake, I hope it does. For my sake, I hope it doesn't mean that I payed too much for mine two months ago! LOL!
