I hate this time of year. I'm jacked about the upcoming season and all I want to do is walk and maybe find an early drop. I need a hobby for the next two months so I don't screw up my good spots.

I'm now waiting on our deer season to start in march.
I saw a collection of fallow sheds the other day that made me weep.The guy collects them from monster studd bucks on his farm.I wanted to ask if he sold any but as he was showing me,his eyes would lite up,the shakes would start and the story of how it came to be would unfold.

Moral to the story.
Even a 62+yr old deer farmer with over 400+ sheds is a total shed nut.

I love to hear that after 62 years your still that passionate I plan to be. I figure if I can average 40 whitetail antlers a year I'll die leaving my wife 1000 sheds to deal with.

He has about 4 studd and 20 other at any given time.

10ftx30ft+ Wall totaly covered without a space(I mean thick).Some are hung 16 deep wich is 8 years worth of the one buck.

I'm going down for new years armed with a camera and cash,I will have a pic posted by next Thursday!!

My first thought when i walked in and saw them was "Holly toledo batman,theirs enough for an antler arch here"

Yeah I live west of Salina. I went out and scouted tonight and found a ton of deer. I know where their wintering now it's just a waiting game.
