Disturbing or removing baby animals almost certainly means they will not survive.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center will host Baby Animals, a Nature Center at Night event on March 8 from 5-8 p.m. Participants will learn what to do if they find young wildlife. A presentation at 6 p.m. will give information on what to do to keep them healthy and wild.
Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) Naturalist Greg Jacobs said spring is a great time to observe wildlife and it’s an important season for animal populations as this is when most young are born.
