captured strange animal with trailcam

got a few picks of a female mtn lion recently, could this be a male? not much hair on the tail...A dog would be unlikely in this area

Post another picture from the same camera. That way we can differentiate between what is the animal vs part of the background. That tail looks like part of it is a stick coming from that log.

in the coyote pic u can see that the log doesnt have any branches stickin up. interestin pic. very curious. but its def a canine!! prob a mangy yote...

Its a yote...I ve seen 3 or 4 yotes with tails like that before... and look at the paws...that's a yote paw...the lions have bigger paws...great pictures tho

The second pic with the yote doesn't show the rest of that rock that is below and left of the fence post. The angle is off so we can't see if that's a stick in the first pic through the second pic. Although I do think it's just a wrankled out yote.
