I'm planning to head out to Carrizo on the weekend of the 29th; my first time there. From reading here it sounds like it will be an enjoyable time.

While I'd like to ask, "where are the pigs", I won't - some things need to be earned. I did find a link for the campground (on Topozone) from last August - that was helpful.

However, the map on the BLM web site indicates that there is private land in the area. When I look at the topo maps, they're ancient and don't show the land holdings.

Are the private parcels fenced? marked? otherwise?
I want to make sure I don't trespass. Thanks for any suggestions.

Mike

PS-If anyone else will be there, I'll be at the KCL campground with a '95 White Jeep Grand Cherokee. My son (11) will be with me.

Mike, for the most part you will see the fences and property lines. Check the website for carrizo too. If you see the ranger stop him and ask. He seems to be a nice guy. I was there in Jan and we saw and heard coyotes so think about that too. Have a great time and good luck.
