Anyone spent any time in the Carrizo Gorge Wilderness, specifically the southern portion? I'll be scouting the Mccain valley area this weekend and I'm debating spending a day hiking into the Carrizo Gorge to check things out.
This is my first year hunting in CA, spent most of my time chasing whitetails in FL so any advice on the area would be great!
