Hey Sport,
Probably just a misunderstanding... here's what I read...
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>
I think you meant you're just going to try to get the handguns registered that you use most often... that makes my bloodpressure go back down a bit.
Maybe I'm paranoid, I don't even know you, but when I hear of gun registration, and especially the "voluntary" registration of guns, it irks me worse than someone killing a kitten.
Good luck with those pistols!

When you wrote "that", I was assuming you meant you would go ahead and register the most often used long guns you described in #1, contrary to your statement in the begining of the paragraph where you correctly noted they don't need to be registered.1. My bolt & lever action rifles + pump, single & double barrel shotguns do not need to be registered, even though many are not even under my name in PA. Many were bought for me by other family members as gifts or I bought them from "John Doe" with cash and a handshake. I am led to believe that since these guns are clearly "hunting guns" then CA law enforcement, wardens,DFG, etc. won't care about them as long as I follow the law on the books regarding transportation.
I have about 25 weapons of that description, I may register the most often used guns[/b]
