Cashe Creek/Payne Ranch/Indian Valley

I just was wondering if anyone has had any luck pig hunting Cashe Creek area? I was planning on doing some scouting there soon and wanted to know where to start. I never have been west of I-5 while going north on I-5. Also I have heard there are some piggies @ Spenceville and was wondering what people know of that area as well.. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Do a search of this site for more info on Cache Creek, as there have been several discussions. The most common report is that the hogs are usually passing through, and it's dumb luck (and lots of scouting and hunting) if you get on one.

A couple guys have posted up about Payne Ranch as well, but no good stories on hogs. Some deer, and I think turkeys, but no positive info on hogs.

Regardless of what you hear, though... don't write it off. You won't kill hogs giving up and staying home, so get out there and see what you find. Good luck!
