No hits for me yet. Figured for sure I would draw my elk tag. The schedule of a project that I am heading up has changed and I'll be out of the country the week of the hunt. So not getting hit for the elk tag is a good thing, but I am hoping for that muzzleloader deer hunt.
Well, I'm showing a "Available Credit" of $400 less than my "Credit Limit" on my Citi card, and it was not like that last night, so it looks like my boy or I drew an elk tag!
I put his second choice as a 7w cow tag, so I'm guessing that's it. As a current non-res, I figured that was probably the only chance we had of drawing an elk tag this year with only 1 bonus point each. Not going to hurt losing just one bonus point on a cow tag either.
I'll be doing flip flops down the street if it's a bull tag! Still happy for the opportunity for a cow for the boy though! A 13 year old could do a lot worse! If I get drawn, he's really lucky, because I put in for Bull tags, and the tag will get transfered to him anyway.
Nothing against my card yet Funny cuz I made sure there was plenty of room for my elk tag on there. Plus I made a donation to the elk fund (through the superraffel) I should get drawn just for feeling lucky, what with 0 preference points accumulated. Oh well archery deer and bear I could do a lot worse.
Good luck to all the hope still lives.
For once I am really hoping I see no Arizona credit card hits. Already got a Nevada elk tag and Colorado deer tag in my pocket. I don't want to take away from these two slammer tags. Good luck to you guys watching your cards.
