CEDAR CANYON WERE HAVING A HUNT SPECIAL
25 bucks a day and 400 kill fee this price is from this weekend november 26th till we are out of pigs or close december 31st .
from the game cam what we can tell thier are around 20+ hogs on the property and some of them are real trophys 200 plus pounds and good teeth .
mainly we will be hunting the week ends but if we get enough people we will hunt weekdays also .
this will be a challenging hunt the pigs are the survivors of the shipments from canada and thier offspring my suggestion bring a scoped rifle and your A game they dont like to stand around much and are mostly running or hiding hunters have been having plenty of shot oppertunities connecting has been the issue.this is definatly a good chance to get a hog a tank of gas round trip from los angels and 25 bucks a day to hunt if you get one you pay the 400 kill fee .
if you get a pig we have skinning and butcher services available
skinng 30 bucks full process 150 which includes bulk sausage
so give us a call 714-968-6623 leave a message and we will call you back

Here are some more pictures of the animals still on our Cedar Canyon Ranch. We are looking for some good hunters to help clear the ranch of the animals we have left. We dont want to leave any for the landlord. We have between 22 and 35 animals left with some truly tophy animals to be had. These are the survivors from the past 8 years of conducting hunts so you will be going against the best of the best, so if you think you have what it takes we would love to have you up to hunt Cedar Canyon before it is gone for good. please call to make reservations.

Sounds interesting. Do you limit how many hunters you have on the property at any one time, or is it unpredictable for someone interested in going? How many hunters do you need to have a weekday hunt?

Sounds like a great opportunity if there won't be too many hunters at one time.

I would drive from SJ if it is a $200 Kill fee FOR SURE!!!!! If you dont want them to go to waste $$$$ wise???? Better than loosing the animals to the landlord right????

Let me know. PM me if interested.

I think it is funny that the ranch is offering an awesome deal with little to loose and there are still those trying dig the knife even deeper. Obviously he is going out of business and if I am correct has given hunts away to Jesse's members before. Help the guy out go out with a bang, don't try to rip him off.

We will be trapping all the animals off the property and have other hunt clubs that want to buy them, I am offering the hunts to let people have a good chance at taking quality animals at a reduced price on a nice piece of property. We will only let 10 people a day out hunting so it wont be crowded but it is better to have more people than less to get the animals moving out of their hiding places. We need to have at least 3 people to do the mid week hunts. Here are some more pictures from last week.

With little to loose in the hunting asspect of it YES. Well Im not trying to rip him off. Im trying to make it worth it to ME to drive down to LA to shoot a Euro breed hog for $425. Then if its a real trophy another $500 for a mount, $150-200 for processing. So If I could save $200 by just askin what is the harm with that??? HUH????

Thanx for the additional info jagdman. From the pics, it seems that maybe all the pigs on the property are mature -- is that the case? If so, I hope I can get some buddies interested to get on over there. The property is in the Tehachapi's about an hour east of Bakersfield isn't it? Even without scoring a pig, it seems like $25 would be worth the fun (without consideration of travel expenses of course.) What the heck, my wife spends gas money just going shopping!

If you go, LMK, we can split the gas money seeing as you're from Fresno :D.

Another question jagdman: since this is a high fence operation with imported animals, can folks hunt without a current CA hunting license and without a current CA pig tag? If so, that would would open this up to friends who don't have the license, etc.

559hog, if I go, I'll let you know.

Trying to rip him off? are crazy!! NOT ASKING FOR A FREE HUNT. I'am trying to help the guy..it's one way to do business.like the asian way, "little profit many costumer". One hunter will bring his friend thats additinal $25. I will not tell you how much they pay per pig, and if two hunters shoot a pig( not likely) i know the owner will break even.

and he is the one who said that he dont want to leave any animal to the landlord..

You do not need a license or pig tags they are livestock not wild pigs that is also why we can trap them. On the cameras I have only seen 2 pigs that are around 50 pounds and 1 that is around 90 and most of the other one are in the 130 to 180 with at least 4 that are over 225 with 3 inches of teeth on them. It is hard to tell down to the last pig what we have out there but those are the animals that we have either seen in person or seen on the camera. Here are some more pictures.

As of right now we have only one person hunting this weekend so if you are worried about to large of a crowd as of right now we only have one, but like I said earlier it is better if we have more than less, so that there are more people hiking out there bumping pigs out of their beds, then running them over the hills into someone else that is sitting on stand.

Just my thoughts after hunting them for eight years.

Looks like at least half the population is sucked into the feed station at the trap... Are people supposed to go out "hunting" for them, or can they just sit by the trap and wait for them to come in?
