While I was elk hunting my pig hunting partner found a ranch that has pig hunts for $350 unguided. I normally won't hunt a high fence ranch but the owner say's his property is very rugged and to allow at least 5 day's to fill your tag, he also said that not everyone gets a pig even though there are lots of pig's, SO it's supposed to be about 8 hrs from san diego and you can camp on his property free, doe's this sound familar to anyone ?? thank's for any help, Bill

Hogs Wild High fence area is for bowhunters only and its 325.00 for two days one hog or 400.00 for two days two hogs. The fenced area is 600 acers. There racnh is much larger and you can hunt the open land with a bow if you like. If you spill blood and dont recover the hog that is your hog.

wtpops, that is exactly what i was thinking. hogs wild! yes, it is a high fenced hunting area and it is archery only. i've hunted the place 4 or 5 times and was successful 3 times. it is not your typical high fence hunting. there are easy places to hunt and VERY difficult areas to hunt. the hogs are smart and getting a shot is challenging. i have to admit that it is one of most enjoyable places that i've hunted for hogs. we usually go with a group of 5 or 6 guys and it's a blast!

Thank's for the help guy's, I'll try Hog's Wild, the only difference is that there was no time limit on this ranch, the owner suggested staying 5 day's if you could.
